Join the First Green Initiatives Litter Clean-Up!

Come join City staff and volunteers to pick up litter in the Southwest part of the City!

When? Sunday August 25th from 8:00 am to 9:30 am

Where? Meet at Ingalls Park (735 SW 1st Street). We will be cleaning up SW 8th Avenue.

How? Buckets, bags, gloves, and pick sticks will be provided. Please make sure to wear closed toed shoes, bring water (ideally in a reusable bottle), and wear sun-protection. 

Why? Nobody likes litter. Not only is litter ugly, but it eventually washes out to sea harming wildlife and polluting our oceans. Lets work together as a community to reduce our impact and beautify the City- all at once!
