Community Unity May Day Festival
Our Community Unity Series is back and the second of four events will be on Saturday, May 4th at Foster Park from 2 - 6 PM.
Don’t miss the annual wrapping of the May Day Pole at this family-friendly event. Also come prepared to compete in various games, from sack races to frisbee toss, and more! Celebrate spring with community resources and fun activities for all ages.
The event is free for all. There will be local food vendors with food for sale.

Citywide Visioning & CRA Plan Update
The Community Redevelopment Agency is looking for your input as they are updating the current CRA Plan and developing a City-Wide Visioning Plan!
In order to do this, community involvement is of paramount importance. The Plan and vision will stimulate economic development activity, attract new investment and assist with the redevelopment / revitalization within the CRA which will positively impact the entire City.
Join them at OB Johnson Park on Monday, May 6th at 6pm for the first of three Visioning Sessions. Mark your calendars with these dates to select a convenient location and time to share your thoughts and ideas!

Safe Kids International
Bike to School Day
Join us in celebrating Safe Kids International Bike to School Day! The Development Services Department along with Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, Safe Kids Broward County, Gulfstream Academy, and the HB Police Department are hosting this event to promote the importance of bike safety for the entire community, starting with the trip from school. The event will begin at 2pm on Wednesday, May 15th at Gulfstream Academy’s North Campus Bike Cage. There will be free helmets and other giveaways for all participating students.
