MLK Parade and Celebration

Join us for the annual Dr. MLK Jr. Celebration! The day starts with the parade at BF James Park ending at OB Johnson Park, where the celebration takes place! The day is filled with fun, so make sure you check out our guest speakers, food vendors, live bands, and kids activities.

If you have registered for the parade, you should meet at BF James Park, 777 NW 1st Ave., Hallandale Beach, at 8:30AM as the parade starts at 10AM sharp. For more information call (954) 457-1452 or visit www.CoHB.org/ParkEvents

 Hallandale Beach Police Department appreciates your assistance in keeping each other safe during the MLK Celebration. Please familiarize yourself with the vendor/activities prohibited by the City of Hallandale Beach during the MLK Celebration unless authorized by a city permit.

The City of Hallandale wants to inform all of its residents of the services we provide. Come out to the City Hall Breezeway on January 31st from 2-6pm and get information on: 
-The Local Minibus, Trash Pick-up, Permitting for Homeowners, Common Code Violations
-How to do Business with the City CPR classes & the upcoming AED Ordinance, C.E.R.T Program & Community Mentorship Program
-Park programs, activities, and events
-Recruitment of Citizens Patrol & the Police Explorers Program
-Assistance with our HB Apps for smart devices
-Giveaways of LED lightbulbs, power strips, and water conservation devices (must bring water bill to show proof of residency)
-Clothing Drive for Women in Distress: baby clothes, small child clothing, & professional wear for women is needed
