Below are the latest City operation updates related to preparedness for Hurricane Irma.
- There are few evacuation shelters available. Contact 311 for latest information.
- Mandatory Curfew begins after 4PM today. Anyone on the road will be stopped by Police.
- If you experience electrical outages, contact FPL directly at 1-800-4-OUTAGE
- We caution all to not drive immediately after the all clear. We will advise when the all clear is issued via social media. Conditions may be hazardous and driving may result in injury.
- Flooding may occur, we advise you to be cautious
- #BePrepared Gather your important documents before the storm. Locate your flood insurance policy and know how to contact your agent
At this point, it may appear as if the storm effects are minimal. However, we strongly caution you to not let your guard down. The most severe weather is still hours away.
