The Community Development Block Grant 47th Year Storm Drainage Improvement Project is Complete
We’re committed to addressing flooding concerns and keeping our infrastructure at the forefront of what we do. One of the projects the City recently completed was the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 47th Year Storm Drainage Improvement Project. As part of this project, we addressed flooding issues by installing five catch basins with drainage inlets, and 164 linear feet of storm pipe along NW 10th Street between North Dixie Highway and NW 2nd Avenue. In addition to addressing flooding concerns, this project restored asphalt pavement and markings, replaced 157.45 square yard of sidewalks, and added new ADA compliant ramps and a speed table.
