HELP A HOMETOWN HERO

Hometown Hero

Tom and Artos proudly served the City of Hallandale Beach from 2013 until 2019 when Artos was retired.  He truly is a remarkable Police Service Dog that selflessly put himself between citizens and the criminal element.

Once retired, Artos began living the “good life”.  Sadly, in October of 2020 Artos became sick and was ultimately diagnosed with B Cell Small and Large Cell Lymphoma.  After multiple tests to determine the best treatment for Artos, it was decided that he would undergo 15 weeks of Chemotherapy Treatment followed by Immunization Therapy.

This team is committed to battling this disease to the end with the same tenacity they had when defending the innocent, but as you can imagine it’s going to be very costly.
A Go Fund Me page has been developed to help with Artos' medical expenses.  Visit www.CoHB.org/HBWoof to help these hometown heros.
