Tropical Storm Isaias

ISAIAS Updates

Isaias has been downgraded to a Tropical Storm but the National Hurricane Center forecasts the storm will once again strengthen into a hurricane overnight.

The City of Hallandale Beach continues to monitor  by following the National Hurricane Center (NHC) for latest storm information,  and partnering with Broward County and State Emergency Management Divisions. Isaias is still forecasted to be a powerful storm as it approaches the Florida peninsula late early Sunday morning.

According to Broward County, based on storm projections, there remains no anticipation of a storm surge, which means that there are still no evacuation orders. However, the City is prepared if conditions change for the worse.
