Join us on March 7 for a Pollinator Gardening Workshop
Beautiful gardens and landscapes can have many benefits beyond aesthetics. Come to our free workshop on Saturday, March 7 to learn about how to garden for wildlife as well as beauty.
We will learn all about how to get your yard certified as Broward County NatureScape and/or National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat. In addition to learning about what is necessary for pollinators and wildlife, we will also get our hands dirty learning about native plants that thrive in South Florida.
There will be free native plant giveaways for everyone and we will also raffle off some great garden accessories like solar birdbath fountains, butterfly puddling stations, and a bat house!
The City of Hallandale Beach is in the process of getting certified as a Community Wildlife Habitat and part of that certification is proliferating wildlife habitats throughout our City. Be part of the change!
This workshop is free and open to people of all ages.
Please register by calling (954) 457-3471 extension 6632 as space is limited.
