REQUEST FOR 2018-2020 BOARD/COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS
The City of Hallandale Beach invites you to get involved in matters relating to our community by volunteering on a board and/or committee. Volunteers are needed to serve in an advisory capacity for the Boards and Committees of the City of Hallandale Beach. Members of Boards and Committees are appointed by the City Commission. In general, the Boards and Committees meet, research and report their findings and recommendations to the City Commission on their assigned topics. Please see below for a list of Boards & Committees and current vacancies:
Accessibility Advisory Board - 1 Vacancy

Beautification Advisory Board - 2 Vacancies
Meets second Thursday of each month at 10:00 am-Department of Public Works, 630 NW 2 St., Hallandale Beach, FL 33009
Census 2020 Complete Count Committee - 4 Vacancies

Civil Service Board- 1 Vacancy
Meets 2nd Wednesday of each month at 10:00 am – City Commission Chambers, 400 S. Federal Highway, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009

Public Transportation, Traffic and Parking Advisory Board – 2 Vacancies

Meets 4th Tuesday of each quarter at 3:30 pm – City Hall, Commission Chambers

Appointed members’ duties will conclude on the date of the City Commission’s organizational meeting following an election, typically in late November.
