During Fiscal Year 2022/2023, the Human Resources/Risk Management Department engaged with Evergreen Solutions, LLC (“Evergreen”) to conduct a Classification & Compensation review for the City of Hallandale Beach (“City”). The Classification and Compensation Project was an initiative designed to align civilian jobs internally and assign market-competitive pay ranges. Here are some commonly asked questions and answers that may arise because of the study and subsequent implementation of the new pay plan.
