Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces
The City welcomes its residents to enjoy our reopened parks and programs!
We are currently in Phase Four full reopening. However, due to the COVID impact on Staffing, some programs and services may still be affected.
As we return to regular programming, all waivers and proof of residency must be updated. Please bring identification and proof of residency (Hallandale Beach residents only) to expedite registration.
Check out our City Marina; Golden Isles Tennis Center; Historic Village home of the Curci House as listed on the National Register of Historic Places; and our community parks including the Cultural Community Center, home of the Parks and Recreation's Administrative Office.
We have almost completed the Parks Master Plan initiative to improve all City parks. On the November 4th, 2014 ballot, the Hallandale Beach Voters approved, by an overwhelming majority (65%), to issue $58.5 million General Obligation Bonds (GO Bonds) to complete the Parks Master Plan Improvements. Our Parks are governed by Park Ordinance 2015-08.
