We’re happy to have your help! Email our Green Initiatives Coordinator to let her know you’d like to volunteer! There are a few different volunteer opportunities to choose from:

  • Attend our monthly Community Litter Clean-Ups! The dates are listed on the City’s social media pages as well as the City’s main calendar.
  • Help us with special events throughout the year.
  • Join the Sustainability and Flood Mitigation Advisory Board! More info here.

Community Wildlife Habitat

In 2020, the City started the certification process to become a National Wildlife Federation Community Wildlife Habitat. You can help us achieve this certification! If you practice wildlife or butterfly gardening, you may be able to certify your yard for free. Each yard that gets certified adds more points to the City’s certification application. Apply and learn more here.
