About
Keith Scott London was born and raised in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania. Keith moved with his family to South Florida in 1979,
subsequent to his high school graduation and has been a resident of Hallandale Beach since 1992. He attended both Miami Dade and Broward Community Colleges.
Keith Scott London has owned three different businesses
since 1982. He sold his business in the summer 2006 to concentrate on
becoming more involved in the community.
After narrowly losing the March 2005 election, Keith
invested much of his energy in the community; attending regular City
Commission, budget, and other meetings, and volunteering his time to various
organizations. He has served on the city’s Marine Advisory Board, and his
community involvement has included Hallandale Beach’s Police Athletic League,
Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) and the Citizen’s Police Academy. He also produced and hosted “The Keith London Show”, a public access cable
show on topics of interest to Hallandale Beach residents.
Keith London was appointed to the City Commission on
November 9, 2006 to the vacated seat of Commissioner Joe Gibbons. Keith was
chosen by Mayor Cooper, Vice Mayor Julian, and Commissioners Ross and
Schiller from the 14 candidates that applied for the position.
