This Committee is comprised of 7 members and 1 alternate. This is an Ad Hoc Committee appointed every eight years by the Commission to review the City Charter. Once appointed, Members serve until a report is rendered to the City Commission. The next Charter Review is scheduled for 2011.  

The Charter Review Committee concluded their review session on December 8th, 2011 by adopting the Final Report and Outline of Recommendations. Additionally, Draft Ballot Language and a Minority & Concurring Report regarding these recommendations have also been prepared. These documents are now available for viewing by clicking on the document titles. 

The City of Hallandale Beach will hold a Referrendum Election on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, to consider six (6) Charter Amendments.  Click to view the Ballot Questions!
