Overview

The Hallandale Beach Procurement Department
administers the centralized purchasing of goods, equipment materials and services for all City departments.

The Department oversees all purchasing, warehousing and inventory control of all stored materials for the city.

The department administers franchise agreements and other contracts.

Mission Statement

The mission of Procurement Department is to purchase materials, equipment, supplies and services required by the City of Hallandale Beach in a timely manner, at competitive costs, consistent with the quality required, in compliance with applicable procurement standards.

To ensure a professional, proficient and fiscally responsible procurement process for the City of Hallandale Beach while maintaining  transparency, integrity and excellence.

Bid Preparation & Purchase Requisitions
Competitive bids and requests for proposals are prepared, issued, evaluated and awarded. The use of State of Florida and other governmental entity contracts and bids is also recommended. The department processes purchase requisitions and issues City purchase orders and monitors City bidding and purchasing procedures to ensure compliance with legal and other requirements.
