Overview
The General Services Department administers and oversees all purchasing, warehousing and inventory control of all stored materials for the city.
The department also administers the cable television franchise agreement and other contracts such as for bus benches and bus shelters, disposal of surplus property, property management, and the city's auctions of surplus items.
