Overview
The I.T. Department is responsible for all computer technology used throughout the City. All computer hardware and software purchases and maintenance, in-house programming and computer training are coordinated through the I.T. Department.
Services
The City has recently embarked on a program to upgrade the computer systems that support city government operations. This multi-year effort is intended to improve the productivity of staff and expand services offered to the citizens of Hallandale Beach.
In the future, citizens will be able to pay utility bills online, check building permit status and have other City services available online.
