SUBJECT:     Resolution Supporting the Public Private Partnerships for Domestic Violence Victims AR #007/10 & CAD #008/10

PURPOSE:

The City Commission adopt a resolution supporting Public-Private Partnerships for Domestic Violence Victims.

DISCUSSION:

On January 27, 2010, the City Commission directed the City Attorney to draft a Resolution supporting the Public-Private Partnerships to help reduce domestic violence and to serve victims and their families, and to provide adequate funding sources to assist to address this problem. 

RECOMMENDATION:

The City Commission adopt the Resolution on February 17, 2010. Attached please find a copy of the proposed Resolution.
