SUBJECT:     An Ordinance of The City of Hallandale Beach, Florida, Adopting Corrections, Updates and Modifications to the Capital Improvements Element of the Hallandale Beach Comprehensive Plan to Reflect the City's Fiscal Year 2009-2010 Budget; Providing for Conflict and Severability (Staff: Director of Development Services) (See Backup) (Second Reading)

PURPOSE

City Commission to adopt an Ordinance on Second Reading adopting Corrections, Updates and Modifications to the Capital Improvement Element of the Hallandale Beach Comprehensive Plan to reflect the City’s Fiscal Year 2009-10 Budget.

BACKGROUND

On September 15, 2009, the City Commission approved First Reading of the attached Ordinance, with no changes.  On September 23, 2009 the Planning and Zoning Board/Local Planning Agency unanimously recommended approval of the attached Ordinance.

DISCUSSION

There have been no changes to the Ordinance approved on First Reading.

RECOMMENDATION

The City Commission approve on Second Reading an Ordinance adopting Corrections, Updates and Modifications to the Capital Improvement Element of the Hallandale Beach Comprehensive Plan to Reflect the City’s Fiscal Year 2009-10 Budget and authorize transmittal to the Department of Community Affairs and other review agencies for a “Compliance” determination.
