This component of the project entails purchase of materials for installation of uplighting in medians on Three Islands Blvd. Staff will perform installation of uplighting in-house. Additional funding will be used for landscaping enhancements.

Anticipated schedule:

Purchase of materials for installation of uplighting                 June 20, 2009

Commencement of in-house installation of uplighting           July 6, 2009

Completion of installation of uplighting and landscaping        December 31, 2009

With 12 locations in the state of Florida, World Electric Supply is a major electrical distributor in Florida.  The West Palm Beach office, which submitted the successful RFP, has been in business for nine (9) years.  World Electric Supply has provided electric supplies to a number of public agencies, including Palm Beach County, the School District of Palm Beach County and the City of Boynton Beach, with favorable results.
