SUBJECT:     A Resolution of the City of Hallandale Beach, Florida, Supporting the Acquisition of 500 Acres of Land in the Everglades from the United States Sugar Corp

PURPOSE:

Attached is the Resolution, pursuant to Commissioner London’s request via email dated April 17, 2009, requesting the City Attorney’s office to draft a proposed Resolution supporting the acquisition of 500 acres of land in the Everglades from the United States Sugar Corp.

RECOMMENDATION:

The City Commission adopt the attached proposed Resolution.
