SUBJECT:     Discussion of Designating NW 1^st Ave. as Ebenezer Drive

I would like to discuss the possibility of designating NW 1^st Ave. – from Pembroke Road to Foster Road – as Ebenezer Drive, in dedication of the 100^th Anniversary of Ebenezer Baptist Church

As you might know Ebenezer Baptist Church will be celebrating its 100^th Anniversary this year. Over the years, Ebenezer Baptist Church has been a building and supportive block, not only for this community but for other neighboring communities as well. Accordingly, I believe it would be pertinent to recognize the Church’s milestone and all its contributions, for the past, present and future generations to come.
